When the guidance of Allah is there, nothing can prevent it even if the person in the farthest place from the way of Allah. Almighty Allah says,

So whoever Allah wants to guide – He expands his breast to [contain] Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide – He makes his breast tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky. (Al-An`am 6:125)

Therefore, a Muslim always asks Allah for guidance every Salah one offers while reciting Surah Al-Fatihah that says,

It is You we worship and You we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. (Al-Fatihah 1:5-7)
