The Hijab

Islam has strongly emphasized the concept of decency and modesty regarding everything especially a Muslim man or woman’s dress, and in the interaction between members of the opposite sex.

Islam commands Muslim men that they should not lustfully look at women (other than their own wives) and in the meantime, it  orders women to be properly and decently dressed and not to wear tight or light clothes that may stir up the lustful desire.

In this video, Sheikh Bilal Philips is talking about the status, rulings, conditions and description of the hijab elaborating that hijab does not only refer to the head-cover but to the whole garment of a woman.
