It’s the End that Counts!

Added by on 09/04/2020

It’s the end that counts! It’s the outcome that counts! - according to your own free will – you had been given the ability to make your own choices.

It’s the end that counts!

It’s the outcome that counts!

It’s the last laugh that counts

The Qur’an reads, “Allah does mock them” (Al-Baqarah 2:15) Be attentive! “and prolongs them in their transgression while they wander blindly” (Al-Baqarah 2:15)

This Allah’s way in His creation

You have been given the choice

And therefore – according to your own free will – you had been given the ability to make your own choices

And you had been given the ability to get too far

Too far as to commit corruption and mischief

He allows you to act as you please

Therefore, be wary if you find Allah keeps bestowing His favors on you even though you disobey Him

Meaning if someone is granted blessings; power, money, handsomeness and yet they’re morally depraved

Disobedient, all they need is a knockout

“It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished.” (Ya-Sin 36 :29)

So, it’s a great blessing when Allah (Exalted be He) purifies someone bit by bit

When Allah is watchful of him, Allah holds him in reckoning for his sins one by one

This is a great blessing

When Allah punishes you, my believing honored brother, immediately after committing the sin, this is a priceless blessing

It means Allah (Exalted be He) is keeping you under His protection; raising you

But if Allah (Exalted be He) sees a man committing all kinds of sins and acts of disobedience

And He doesn’t straighten him out

This is a fearful indication

They will get a knockout!

“Allah does mock them and prolongs them in their transgression while they wander blindly” (Al-Baqarah 2:15)

He allows them to act as they please

Be careful! One’s life can end at any moment!

At any moment his life may turn upside down

At any moment his security may turn into destructive fear

At any moment his richness may turn into extreme poverty

At any moment his strength may turn into severe weakness

Allah is the Strong; He gives strength to man

And at any moment He can weaken him

Allah is the Rich; he makes one rich

And at any moment one’s strength may turn into severe weakness

Allah is the Strong; He gives strength to man

him and at any moment He can weaken

Allah is the Rich; he makes one rich and at any moment He can make him poor

Allah (Exalted be He) gives man blessings and at any moment he can deprive him of these blessings

Man is under the mercy of Allah (Exalted be He)

Oftentimes, man

Oftentimes, man – being completely naive, narrow-minded and ignorant, thinks that he is intelligent if he could deceive a human

He believes that deceiving them into believing that something that is not true- is true is unprecedented intelligence

Rather this is unprecedented ignorance!

Think of your relationship with Allah Who knows everything about you

Those you deceive have no power either to harm or benefit you

Nor they have power to cause life or resurrection

Their commerce has failed. They lived a certain number of years

Yes, they may have had an easy life!

Maybe they made a lot of money by fraud and deceit

But they lost the Hereafter

They had fun only a certain number of years

“Those are the ones who have purchased error in exchange for guidance, so their commerce has brought no profit, nor were they guided.” (Al-Baqarah 2:16)

On the contrary, the commerce of the believer has triumphed!

One of the Companions was on his way to Madinah and one of the disbelievers lay waiting in ambush for him

They wanted to turn him away from migration. He told them, ‘take all my money back there in Makkah’

He informed them of where the money was hidden, so they let him go

‘Take all my money’

He hid his money at a particular place in his house

He said to them, ‘my money is at this place. Take it and let me go’

Upon arriving in Madinah, he told the Prophet (peace be upon him) what happened

What did the Prophet say to him?

He said to him: “Your deal has been successful, Aba Yahya!”

His deal has been successful.

He gave up all his money in exchange for being with the Prophet

His commerce has triumphed. You, as well, from a commercial point of view, weigh this life against the hereafter

Here’s, for example, someone who gained the whole world; lots of money, a high position, a big house, a fancy car but lost the Hereafter?

Did he win or lose? This is the biggest loss!

“Say: ‘Truly, the losers are those who lose themselves’.” (Az-Zumar 39:15)

Who is the real loser? The one lost the Hereafter

This life – no matter how hard it is, how tough or tiresome, ends

And only Hereafter is forever in a paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth

From a commercial point of view, weigh this life against the hereafter

Oh brothers! How many houses that worth millions and its people were buried under layers of land!

Doesn’t man see funerals?

Can anyone escape being prayed over in the mosque?

No way!

There must be a day you will be carried to the mosque to be prayed over

No one escapes!

A on a shop reads: “Pray Before You are Prayed Over”

When you ponder short trivial life

Where there are no guarantees

Every day we hear too much bad news that make you sick

Plenty of bad news that make you sick

There were a few in the sixties and seventies

One hears about tens of young men fall dead

There are no guarantees except obedience to Allah (Exalted be He)

So, the believer gets closer to Allah, be obedient to Him, entrusting his affair to Him

And let death comes. For the believer death feels like a wedding day

And death is a transition from the home of trouble to the home of pleasure

from a home of sickness, distress, sadness and troubles to the home of everlasting peacefulness

“For them therein is whatever they wish” (Al-Furqan 25:16)

And as for unbelievers, their commerce has failed

It’s a business

You live only for a limited number of years

If someone was offered to enjoy billion for one year to after that be imprisoned and tortured for ten years, would he accept?

No one would accept enjoying one year before being tortured for ten years! No one accepts!

Compared to the Hereafter this life is nothing!

No one pays attention to the word ‘eternal’!

is 1 to zeroes  The ratio of distances from earth to sun

The Sun is 156 km from Earth

Every ml is actually a zero. What does this mean?

Compared to eternity this distance is zero; is nothing

Can you imagine! is 1:156 million zeroes  The ratio of distances from earth to sun

Every ml is actually a zero

What about the ratio from the Sun to Mars or Jupitar?

Compared to the Hereafter this numbers are nothing

For only a limited number of years people live a life of immorality, debauchery, delinquency and consuming of the people’s wealth unjustly

They do not think about the time of death

Death comes in the blink of an eye

Man is under Allah’s control

“Those are the ones who have purchased error in exchange for guidance, so their commerce has brought no profit, nor were they guided.” (Al-Baqarah 2:16)

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the World
