More than A Knock on the Door of God

Added by on 13/02/2020

The more times you knock on the door of God, it will eventually be opened to you and you will be answered. How great is that! So don’t give up.

More than a knock on the door of God…

One of the greatest words of wisdom that I rejoice every time I hear it

I would like repeat over and over again so that you too may rejoice by it

This quote will give rise to hope and lift your heart out of despair

The Word of Wisdom states that, “on any door if you knock three times at most. If it opens for you, enter, otherwise, return, except the door of Allah (Exalted be He); the more times you knock on it, it will eventually be opened to you and you will be answered.”

How great is that! So don’t give up

The same meaning is mentioned in the Qur’an,

And in the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

To aspire for His grace (Exalted be He); keep knocking on His door and calling Him

Leaving everything you need in His hands

The Eternal Refuge

He is the One and Only, the Eternal Refuge Who can fulfill yours needs and wants

Your own needs, the needs of the society, or the needs of the Ummah

Lo! He is Allah (Exalted be He) Who is able to do all things

Who tells us: “And the places of worship are only for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone.” (Al-Jinn 72:18)

Why shouldn’t I invoke anyone along with Allah?

Because no one is able to do all things except Him (Exalted be He)

Strange it is that someone, knowing that there’s no God but Him,

Knowing how Omnipotent He is, and how Forbearing He is

Knowing that Allah (Exalted be He) exists, knowing how He is the Most-Generous, Lenient, and how He gives abundantly, ant yet they go to another one, dead or alive,

Go to an idol, a stone, or a tree

Asking them for help and leniency

“Say: He is Allah, the One and Only” (Al-Ikhlas 112:1)

And because Allah is One and is Only, direct this heart to Him

“So know that there is no god but Allah, and ask forgiveness for your sin”(Muhammad 47:19) “And there is no god except one God” (Al-Ma’idah 5:73)

Yes, knock on the door of Allah and keep knocking, harder each time

We have numerous miseries, numerous aspirations

You knocked once, twice, three times, and still not answered!

Fully Trust in Your Lord

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Call upon Allah while being certain of being answered, and know that Allah does not respond to a supplication from the heart of one heedless and occupied by play”

And when the answer or your call is delayed, these words will help get you calling again

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: ““One of you is granted an answer to his supplication so long as he is not hasty. They said: ‘”What does being hasty mean, O Messenger of Allah?’ He said: ‘When one says: ‘I supplicated, I supplicated but I did not find it being answered.’” So, by their impatience and frustration, he stops supplicating.

No, honorable brother

Persist in Calling and Asking Allah

In a hadith narrated by imam Ahmad that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Allah is Kind and Most Generous, and is too kind to turn the hands of a slave without gain when he raises them to Him in supplication.”

In another hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: “No Muslim makes supplicates Allah  but that he is given one of three things: either his supplication is answered quickly, or it is stored up for him on the Day of Judgment, or an evil equal to it is averted from him.’ The Companions said, ‘Then many supplications will be made, That is a profitable deal!’ He replied, ‘Allah has more still to give.’”

The depositories of Allah never run out

So, don’t despair and say, “I’m a sinner! I’m a wrong-doer! I’m disobedient to Allah! My shortcomings are numerous!

A acknowledge your sins, but in a positive way

A way that leads you to get closer to Allah (Exalted be He)

To aspire and ask for His grace, mercy and forgiveness

He is the one Who told us: “Say: “O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah.” (Az-Zumar 39:53), didn’t He?

And here a question is asked,

Why shouldn’t I despair of the mercy of Allah?

And comes the answer: “Indeed Allah forgives all sins: it is He Who is the Forgiving, the Most Merciful.” (Az-Zumar 39:53)
